How I Travel With Medicines and Supplies

I was getting tired of not having all my medication and supplies in one spot. I would have pill bottles in plastic bags, supplies in different separate plastic bags, and backup devices in another plastic bag.

Needless to say, it was an inefficient way to travel and hard to locate the necessary items mid-flight and during my trips.

Before

After

I ordered two of these stack boxes for a total of 6 containers, two with tiers containing organizer inserts. I use 4 tiers when I travel, with one of the tiers containing the insert. I save the other two for organization at home. However, you can keep stacking as many tiers as you order.

The reason this was the solution to my traveling medication and supply needs was for the organization and easy to use nature of it. The storage tiers interlock and can be take apart one by one.

As you can see, you do not need to unlock each tier to get to the one you are looking for that contains the items you want.

The organizer tier is best for most pill bottles that your receive from a pharmacy

For the other tiers, I organize them in categories.

I use the second tier for larger pill bottles that did not fit into the organizer.

For the third tier, I put my supplies I need for my pump and the necessary medication for it.

In the fourth tier, I put any back up supplies, including batteries, spare pumps, gauze, dressings, and any other supplies that I may need.

The best part of this unit, it fits comfortably into my med bag, that way once this is organized, I only need to place in the bag and be good to go. Depending on what medications and supplies you need for your travel and trip, the way you organize this storage unit is up to you!
